What Does Onward & Upward Mean to You?
“So when I think of Onward & Upward, I think of mobility and it’s directional mobility. So it’s onward, which is forward progress and upward, which is for elevation. And you’re doing both simultaneously, but they’re also both really important to do and to keep in mind. So I think regardless it, when I hear those words, I think about determination. I think about dedication. I think about diligence. I think about strength. I think about frankly, my great aunt and my grandmothers in terms of just their mobility and moving, no matter what the circumstance. I think of excellence. So Onward & Upward, moving on and moving up.”

Silvette Pope Bullard is a Nationally Certified Counselor, a Certified School Counselor, a Licensed Professional Counselor and a new small business owner.
Silvette now adds her joy of baking for customers with the joy she receives from helping students, families, colleagues and clients become empowered, supported, validated and understood.
As owner of the home-based bakery Sweet Julobell Bakery, Silvette pays tribute to her grandmothers and her great-aunt, for whom “Julobell” was named.
They were strong, charismatic and generous women who poured positivity and love into their friends, family and baking!
