Ashro Woman: Pamela J.

Meet Ashro Woman of the Week, Pamela J. from Houston, TX

Ashro Woman of the Week Brenda, a smiling African-American woman wearing a white dress and a white hat.

So beautiful and confident, this retired educator has a seriously stunning sense of style! Like many of us, expressing herself through style is a big part of who she is. She wears hats several times a month and wigs dailyā€”all different lengths and styles. Her truest beauty, however, lies in her focus: family, service, and unconditional love.

Pamelaā€™s mom, a retired nurse, has been her greatest role model. At 90 years young, sheā€™s made a difference in the lives of others through ā€œher advice, love, and patience.ā€ Pamela describes her as an inspiring example of ā€œhow to be a loving, supportive, and honest personā€. The apple doesnā€™t fall far from the tree! As a member of Delta Sigma Theta, Pamela believes in addressing the issues of society and making a difference. Her best advice? ā€œPrayer still works.ā€
