Dr. Regina is a retired professor, Deputy Chair of Nursing, who is full of style, determination and faith. Now, as a co-pastor and first lady, she preaches and teaches alongside her husband at their Baptist church.

| An inspiring, motivational, and very interesting fashionista. |
| What do you do for a living? What do you like most about it? What don’t you like? |
| I am a retired Professor, Deputy Chair of Nursing. I enjoyed teaching and leading the department to great things, to be the best.. |
| How do you spend your free time? |
| Reading, teaching Bible study, and looking to see how older women are represented in the various fashion publications. |
| What small thing makes you happy? |
| Date night with my husband. |
| What is your best dish? Who do you make it for—and where do you typically serve it? |
| My corn pudding is delicious. Served to my family and at family and friends gatherings. |
| What has been your greatest struggle…and your greatest (or latest) triumph? |
| My greatest struggle is dealing with back pain. My greatest triumph is feeling beautiful wearing my bald head. |
| Who influenced you the most in your life. Why? And in what way? |
| A good friend motivated me to go into the nursing profession. When saw that I was wasting my mind and my talent she challenged me to do better and be better. |
| Do you volunteer or do charity work? Tell us about it! |
| I recently gave a donation for a water filter to provide clean water for a village in Ghana. I am currently collecting slightly used and new bras for young girls in Mali. |
| Are you in a sorority? Or is anyone in your family in a sorority? If so, which one and what does it mean to you? |
| No I am not in a sorority. I was a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. I have not paid my membership for this year. |
| What do you love about fashion and style? |
| I am a tall woman and have been told for most of my life that I make a statement in my clothes and light of a room. I enjoy colors and believe I look good in most anything I wear. I love beauty and elegance. |
| Has anyone in particular influenced your style? |
| Not really. |
| What occasions/events do you dress up for? (for example-do you often dress up for church, cultural events, charity events, going out, etc.) And how often do you typically get dressed up? |
| I make myself look elegant in most things I decide to wear. I attend a number of dinners and luncheons that require me to dress my best, and of course for church. I always look like I am going somewhere. |
| How has your style evolved over time? |
| I have become better at selecting colors and styles that accentuate my color and height. |

| Yes, I am a lover of hats and turbans for any occasion. |
| Do you wear headwraps? How often? Where did you learn how to tie it? Share a pic of you in a headwrap with us! |
| Yes, I do wear head-wraps when the mood for a wrap hits me or the occasion calls for one. My daughter who is a Yoruba Priestess and YouTube are my teachers. |

| Are you a woman of faith? How does that faith affect your life? Please tell us more. |
| I am a Baptist Pastor. My faith guides my life and the decisions I make that affect others, my family, and myself. I love to teach Bible study which is one of my passions. |
| Do you attend church? What church do you go to and what do you love most about it? |
| Yes, I attend Bethel Baptist Church of St. Albans every Sunday. I love preaching and teaching the Word of God and sharing ministry with my husband. |
| How are you passing along your faith traditions onto your children/grandchildren? |
| Talking with them about God. Taking my granddaughter to church and involving her as much as possible. Buying and giving coloring Bibles as gifts. |
| Are you a First Lady or a Pastor? |
| Yes |
| If yes, tell us about it. |
| It is a joy to preach and share in ministry with my husband as the CoPastor of the church. I enjoy teaching both men and women to help them understand the Bible. I thoroughly enjoy our Women’s Ministry and weekly conference call prayer, “POW” Prayer on Wednesday which is now 7 years old. Serving others in the capacity of both Pastor and First Lady continually are a blessing to me. |
| Your best advice? |
| Never give up give up. “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.! |
| What lessons has motherhood (or being a grandmother) taught you? |
| I have an unending supply of unconditional love that has helped me develop an abundance of patience. |

| I received my first catalog so long ago, that I sincerely do not remember. |
