Ashro Woman: Beverly K.

Meet Ashro Woman of the Week BEVERLY from New York

Meet Beverly from New York

Ashro Woman of the Week, Beverly, an black woman wearing a white dress and matching headwrap at an outdoor event.

We love Beverly’s beauty advice: “Never try to fit in. Know that your beauty is exceptional and accept your flaws. They make you unique.” Whether she is taking care of the elderly or leading her singing group at church, Beverly has “a constant drive to succeed in what God has called her to”.

“Sometimes I’m facing impossible situations, but because of my faith, I can put it all in His hands and know that it would be well. I can do nothing, and I am nothing without Him.”

Beverly’s biggest influence was her mother because she taught Beverly to “love without boundaries.” Beverly’s mother worked as a nurse to provide for Beverly and her four sisters, and she “did it without complaining…We had everything growing up, never lacked in love.” What makes Beverly happy? “PEACE NOT PERFECTION”…and that is a lesson for us all.
